Connecticut Partnerships

New Opportunities, Inc. has been a partner with MC2 Technology, Inc. for over eight years in the development and establishment of both summer and after school programming for disconnected youth in the City of Waterbury. MC2 Technology has a proven track record in the engagement and academic success of disconnected youth over its two decades of experience. The program design is a comprehensive model which incorporates educational tutoring, post-secondary workshops, financial education, entrepreneurship development, and arts/entertainment. The organization has been able to mobilize numerous community partners in the areas of education, health, faith based, and the private sector to successfully implement programming designed to engage and empower young people. The organization is currently in the midst of preparing innovative programming for disconnected youth and expanding its service model into the Greater Torrington region.
